This is wonderful news to know the Gawd, DJ Premier, is listening and liking the sounds we produce. I remember when Fat Beats closed earlier this year that an article in some online publication wrote that Preemo had purchased up a copy of "Fight Music" as one of the stores final purchases. If you havent heard the album then go to FYE, iTunes, Amazon, etc and pick your copy up. Thanks to Enemy Soil and everybody involved in making this record a success and lets keep the legs of this album running.

Look, I'm going to keep this brief. I support my area colleagues who are about advancing the DMV music scene to MAKE MONEY and simutaneously ADVANCE THE CRAFT of music. The DMV Awards are still in their infancy and many know that I've been an outspoken individual about the way this award show has been handled the past few years. I have been reassured by members of the committee that changes have been made this year. So, therefore, I am posting this press release on Inner Loop's blog to show our support of this years award show.

Inner Loop is not about soliciting for any awards, acknowledgements, accolades or any other ego-driven lists. If any artist is nominated or crowned, then "thank you." Inner Loop is not going to promote this show to our base with "VOTE FOR ME" T-Shirts or blast you with texts/tweets and e-mails telling you of our accomplishments. We appreciate your continued support.

Atom the Arson aka The King of the Beltway

Walked away with a slew of prizes and I'm sure a lot of new fans (me included). Definitely the most original producer in the event, he had the majority of the crowd dancing every time he got on the stage. Get at him!
