About:

Washington, DC – Yes! The rumors are true everyone! Studio 43’s Uptown XO, Inner Loop Record’s K-Beta, Beam Up Entertainment’s KingPen Slim, and DC's own Lola Munroe will be going on tour this year! You may have seen the various conversations on Twitter and everyone wondering who would be on the tour, and the time has come now. The Capital City Music Tour is presented by Studio 43, Inner Loop Records, Beam Up Entertainment, and Betaraz Entertainment.

When asked about the tour and their feelings on everything coming together finally for the DMV (DC/MD/VA) area, the three individuals Overok, P-Stew and Kenny Burns stated the following:

Overok (Inner Loop Records) - "This cities hip hop scene has often been viewed as selfish and crew oriented. With this tour we hope to dispel any prior reputations and ultimately set the bar for all future collaborative DMV efforts".

P-Stew (Beam Up Entertainment) - "The plan with the Capital City Music Tour is to start something historic that we can do every year, like Lollapalooza, Heineken Red Star, Rock The Bells, with the focus being DMV artist...and we certainly have the right Artist, right Labels, and the right Music to kick off this part of DMV Hip Hop History..."

Kenny Burns (Studio 43) - "Being one of the fore fathers fighting for this generations Art to be heard, My Dream for DC is coming true! To actually have a Hip Hop tour circulate through out the DMV, shows that what we all are doing matters! Hip Hop is alive and well and it LiVes in The DMV!"

The Capital City Music Tour will be hosted by the well known P-Stew, who is the host of one of the hottest hip hop shows on WKYS 93.9 called “One Nation Hip Hop”.
