December 06, 2010 (Washington, DC) - - In honor of this year's work, the "Law of the Few" record pool will be held at 12 Lounge in DC, on December 9, 2010. Doors open at 6pm, and kicks off with a New Music Listening Session by DJ J-$crilla.
Following the listening session, get a sneak peak of the hottest new music, presented by the area's most prominent DJs and producers, including: EZ Street, DJ YKCOR, DJ Gemini, DJ J Buttah, DJ Heat, DJ Chris Styles, DJ Jav, DJ Lady Blaze, DJ Beanz, DJ Rob, DJ T-Dubb, DJ Soyo, DJ Red Money, Angel Baby, Judah, AB the Pro, Certified Beats, Grussle, and more.
Hosted by Dre "All Day" and presented by Harmony Muzik, the night's purpose is to celebrate the music scene, and provide an enjoyable evening of networking and promotion.
A special all-star line-up of artists include: Phi Ade, Wordsmith, Fat Trel, Uptown XO, Bear Witnez, Jay Mills, Frayz, K-Beta, Tese Fever, Lyriciss, Harmony Muzik, Pro'verb, Meatchi, and Her RhawNess. Additional artists selected to perform during DJ YKCOR's set include: Kayo Bracey, Cousin Bubb, and Jupiter Express.
DJ YKCOR is an internationally recognized mixtape and club DJ. His mixtape series and projects in 2010 have reached over 4 millions views. Mixtape duos and features include work with Wale, Fabolous, Tone Trump, DJ Drama, Wordsmith, Whitefolkz, Jay Mills, E-Skillz, Cousin Bubb, Erie Ave, Mo C.H.I.P.S., the Funkregulator Celo, DJ Beanz, Certified Beats & Prince Blakk, DJ Heat, Gerreddi and more.
DJ Ykcor is currently nominated for a 2011 Southern Entertainment Award for "Best Chopped/Screwed Mixtape of the Year", and is a 2010 DMV Music Award Winner for "Mixtape of the Year."
